Neil Joines

I commenced with Baxter Healthcare in the late 70s as a process worker, where I was given the opportunity to work within all facets of a diverse manufacturing process. The 1980s evolution from glass IV therapy to plastic closed system therapies sparked my career progression from a line setter, to departmental supervisor within the dynamic Viaflex Filling department and then into warehouse management.

Throughout my career, Baxter has supported my career development by enabling me to undertake in-house training, industry courses and tertiary education via TAFE/University.

Twenty-eight years after I commenced with Baxter, I still enjoy the thought of serving the patients’ need through my work. I will continue to work within the healthcare industry, knowing that every decision we make as an organisation, impacts positively on human life.

My team and I recognise that every product made and every service offered can potentially affect the life of a close friend or loved one.
