Is my application kept confidential?
The Baxter Healthcare employees associated with your recruitment process will have access to your personal profile. However, in adherence with Federal privacy laws, your personal details will remain confidential, as per our Privacy Policy.
Does Baxter Healthcare practice equal employment opportunity (EEO)?

Do you conduct reference checks?
Yes. Where possible, we ask that you provide us with two employment-related referees within your resume. Please ensure that you are comfortable for us to contact these individuals during the recruitment process.
Do you conduct background checks?
Yes. However, the depth of background checking is contingent on the role that you are applying for. During the recruitment process, our Talent Acquisition Specialists may request your consent to engage a third party for the purpose of confirming your educational background, criminal record and right to work in Australia.
Will I be expected to complete a medical assessment?
Some positions will require a medical assessment. In the event that this is applicable to the role that you are applying for, we will ask for your consent during the recruitment process.
How many interview(s) am I required to attend?
This will depend on the role that you are applying for. Some roles will only require a single interview, whilst others will require you to attend a further interview round(s).
What does the interview process involve?
During the interview process you will be asked to demonstrate how your qualifications, skills and experiences make you the best candidate for the vacant position. Commonly, behavioural interview techniques are used, whereby you will be asked to provide previous career experience examples that relate to the advertised role.
Will you conduct psychological testing?
This will depend on the role that you are applying for. An interviewer may ask you to complete a psychological test to aid the selection process. This testing is conducted via online technology and thus gives you the flexibility to complete this test at your own convenience. If you do not have access to a computer, our organisation can conduct onsite testing, at time suitable to both parties.
How much will my remuneration package be?
Your remuneration will be determined by the role that you are appointed to, as well as the qualifications, skills and experiences that you have acquired during your career. Some pay rates are subject to the relevant award, whilst others are negotiated between the relevant parties at the time of employment offer.
Do you provide an organisational orientation program?
Yes! All new employees are requested to attend a mandatory orientation programme during the first six weeks of their employment, to guide their comfortable transition into the Baxter Team.
Will I be given position training?
Definitely! Upon employment commencement, all new employees are provided with relevant departmental training, geared at ensuring that you have the right tools to perform your role successfully. Progressive training is also engrained into our organisational culture because we believe in giving our staff the best possible opportunity to excel within their Baxter careers.
Will I have to wear a uniform?
It depends on which business function you are appointed too. Some employees are required to wear a uniform because it is relevant to their role or an environmental, health and safety requirement.
